Welcome to our family history website!

On this site you'll find many interesting facts and stories about our ancestors and relatives. We hope you take a few minutes to look around, view some of the images, read a few of the stories we've collected, and visit our Leaves on a Tree - Family History blog and leave a comment or two. The information on this site represents many decades of work - from us, our distant relatives, and those more closely related to us - for which we are deeply grateful. We hope you find this information interesting and useful in your personal research efforts. Our ancestors come from a variety of countries including Denmark, England, France, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Wales, and other places. And to get an idea of the many surnames in our family tree, check out our surnames page.

As you navigate your way around, please keep in mind that the primary purpose of our website is to: 1) Publish and share this information with immediate and distant family members, and other interested parties; and, 2) Preserve and share digital copies of old photographs and important documents. As you peruse this information, you will find that no details are provided for living individuals. And if you find erroneous information, or data that should not be included on our website, please contact us.

"Leaves on a Tree" is a constant work in progress. We update information on a semi-regular basis and are in constant search of primary sources of information. We are happy to share as much information as possible and at present, a login account is not required. We expect it will be a multi-year project just to post the many documents and photographs we have collected over the years. If you would like to share any family histories, biographies, old photographs, documents, recordings, or videos associated with any of the individuals on this site, please contact us.
